From 2004--the Ronald Reagan "tribute"

On June 5, 2004, former president Ronald Reagan died. Naturally, this passing had to be noted on Sonic Overload so almost all of the June 7 show was a "tribute" of sorts, where I played pretty much every song about Reagan and related topics that I could dig up. I did end up missing a few and those were played the following week.

This is by far the most popular show I ever did in 9 years of broadcasting/webcasting. It was recorded at Allston-Brighton Free Radio, where the show originated for nearly 5 years although it's also been available as a webcast since mid-'03. One thing I notice, when playing some of it back, is how goddamned fast I talked on the air back then. Not that I sound any better now but at least the tempo is slower. Must be my increasing age!
