The theme of this week’s show is pretty self-explanatory, mainly a show of solidarity with the state workers in Wisconsin who are under attack by their newly-elected Republican governor, Scott Walker, who wants to strip them of their collective bargaining rights. They’re also under attack by various right-wing politicians, pundits and severely misguided, misled individuals who have been conned into thinking that everyone who belongs to a union is a “thug.” Crowds continue to grow at protests and rallies in Madison, as well as around the country and you get a taste of that at the beginning of Tracks 1 and 3.
