Sonic Overload 10/24/11

Not a lot of political commentary today, except for a report on aggressive police actions towards Occupy Wall Street protesters. In Boston, things have remained relatively tranquil between the police and occupiers, although there were some arrests a few weeks back. Ellen and I went to Occupy Boston yesterday, down near South Station at Dewey Square—right across the street from the Federal Reserve Bank. I offer my thoughts after the Urban Waste song. My vocal chords felt shot at the beginning of the show but I didn’t have as many problems as the show progressed.

I forgot to mention, after playing the Inepsy song, that they’ve recently broken up. It’d been awhile since I’d seen them play live but they were always a lot of fun. And one correction—Sarin McHugh and the Everymen are from New Jersey, not NYC. Just keeping it all accurate!
