Sonic Overload 10/18/10

So here it is... the first show on my new site. The first show at 128 kpbs or, if you don't know what I'm talking about, better sound quality. And the show gets off to a rousing start with some enlightened observations from Carl Paladino, Republican gubernatorial candidate in New York who has a bit of—how should I say this—a gay problem. Just listen and you’ll understand. And it’s particularly sickening to hear his aural diarrhea given the recent suicides of gay individuals due to homophobic attacks and bullying. Colorado Republican senatorial candidate Ken Buck also slandered gay people, saying on “Meet The Press,”  “I think that birth has an influence over it, like alcoholism and some other things, but I think that basically you have a choice,” I don’t think I need to comment further.

Time to stop talking about the bigots. Let’s rock!
