It’s Martin Luther King, Jr Day. so, as is my tradition, I play excerpts from a few of his speeches at the top of the show. It’s not a long segment—only about a minute and a half—but they’re from speeches and sermons you rarely here when the mainstream media covers King’s birthday. As I always say, I really wish he was still alive. I think he’d still be out there, fighting for social justice and economic fairness.
