Happy President’s Day. The holiday is actually legally known as Washington’s Birthday. When I was a kid, Lincoln’s Birthday was observed on February 12 and Washington’s on February 22 but they made it a Monday holiday for the third February, starting in the early 70s. Aren’t you glad you know that now? Speaking of presidents, the craziness with the Republican candidates continues, especially Rick Santorum, whose extreme views become more apparent with each passing day—although I knew about this guy years ago.
