I don’t mention it on the show but today (April 4) is the 43rd anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. So let’s all pause for a moment and remember this great man. And, as I’ve said before, it’s sickening that the Republicans continue to try to claim King as one of their own when their party runs counter to everything that King believed in.

I also hope that this past week’s snowstorm on April Fool’s Day (of course) will be the last time I have to get out the shovel this spring. At least it was only an inch or two and not the two feet or so we got on April Fool’s Day in 1997. But I’ll keep my mouth shut now. I’m not a superstitious type but why chance it?

And, in case you’re wondering, the line about “heartfelt shit” comes from Halo Of Flies’ “No Time” but it’s a lie. Plenty of hearfelt shit here. What’s the point, otherwise?
