Here it is—the end of a fucked up year, to quote the Embrace song that wraps things up. Well, fucked up in some ways, not so awful in other ways and we got through another year. Being that 2012 is an election year, there won’t be any shortage of material to use on this show—it’s going to one nasty year as the politicians prepare to do battle. But let’s worry about that later. This week, I present my favorite records of 2011. It’s not a countdown but my album of the year is Foreign Objects’ No Sensation. I didn’t have too much difficulty filling up the two hours so I guess that means it was a pretty good musical year.
