Sonic Overload 4/7/14

Once again, I don’t have anything profound to say except that this week’s show goes out in memory of Anderson Lynne Mar, who died of injuries sustained in a house fire a few weeks ago. I was only slightly acquainted with her (friend of some friends, essentially) but she was heavily involved in the Boston music scene booking shows, playing in her band Sans Nomenclature and she was also an instructor at the Boston School of Rock. She was only 41. I’d actually seen her about a day and a half before it happened, at a get-together at one of our mutual friends’ apartment. Very sad... R.I.P.

This coming Wednesday, April 9, is the first anniversary of my show on Stench Radio. Thanks to Stig and the other fine people involved in the station.
