Sonic Overload 6/8/15

I got a little bit of a late start on this one, although it’s still being posted on Monday. That’s because I needed to take a break to go shopping for a new dishwasher. You see, the old one breathed its last or whatever it is dishwashers do when they conk out. Anyway, I had to play the Crash Course In Science song in its memory. And this week’s show also pays tribute, once again, to Ronald Reagan. Eleven years gone as of this past weekend. Reagan was an inspiration i.e he inspired a TON of great punk and hardcore and still does, on occasion as a few of the songs played came after his death.

This show is dedicated to the memory of Skuld Recordings’ founder Kleister, who died last week. I don’t have any more details than that and it really isn’t anyone’s business, I suppose, but his label produced a number of great records, including some crucial reissues. R.I.P.
