good news for a change—gay marriage is FINALLY legal in all 50 states, thanks to a 5-4 decision by the Supreme Court. Of course, the dissenters were predictable—Scalia, Thomas, Roberts and Alito. Scalia’s dissent, in particular, was rather bizarre. A term like “interpretive jiggery-pokery” tends to stand out. Who knows what goes on in the mind of Scalia? I’m not sure I want to know and I’m hoping that the 79 year old Scalia is nearing the end of his tenure on the Court.
